I got an invitation to join Pixiv Fanbox, yesterday. And to be faire, i'm not sure about this... The thing is, i already got a Patreon - and aside the pain to runs two artistic accounts, i don't want to make my Patreons feeling "stolen" if the prices (in Yen) are too low. And so far, i'm not productive enough to create exclusive contents. ... In another hand, it could be useful to have Pixiv Fanbox "just in case" if Patreon suddenly got problems with my art... To anyone (artist or fans or both), what's the difference between Patreon and Pixiv Fanbox? I'm open to suggestions, honestly.

I've already indicated it on my profile - and people who contacted me recently for commission were already aware of this - but i think it needed more precisions, just in case. So yeah, i'm no longuer taking commissions, for an undeterminated time. Don't worry, i'll finish works for people who already commissioned me before that. Firts reason is, i want to do more personal stuff, including things i had in mind for a long time or project with others artists i didn't got the time to work on. My daily job doesn't leave me much energy when i'm back home, so, i can only draw during the weekend - IF real life doesn't disturb me, of course. And lately, some health problems (including my back and arms) slow me even more. Another reason is, i realized that as a cartoonist... my art has some flaws. Not only perspective but also posing. And always that annoying voice who tell me, each time i'm finishing an artwork, "You could probably do better with this". So, i can definitely use this time

For some months, AI Generated Arts enters the public sphere and now, there are uncommon. I don't take much risk by saying all artists think about this new kind of tool, wondering of its possibilities... and also the possible threat to human artists. Now, i've actually heard something more sinister - and actually intriguing: Apparently, DA would take artworks from inactives and deceased users and send them to AI enterprises, in order to improve the AI at doing art. I said "would" because, i didn't find much evidences about that. This seems to contradict DA's own Copyright rule and, to be fair, i don't know how AI Art Generators are programmed and updated... Does anyone have more informations about this? Is this just a rumor?
