Oceanscape

Feeling like you are trying to swim through the deepest, darkest waters. There is a light in the distance, a whole new universe, but every source of light, every star is too far out of reach. You have to be satisfied with a life spent among the never ending waves, staring into a distance which is slowly devouring you. The void, at least, is welcoming to all.

I started this painting last July, experiencing a depression worse than ever before. I lost interest in painting and I picked up this painting again a few days ago. Life isn't as I imagined, but I keep myself afloat no matter what.
