I am Luna, a very slow and lazy artist.
I have been on a semi-hiatus for the past couple of years and am trying to gradually work myself back into creating art. Since I’ve been away for such a long time, I will be slowly working to update my profile and gallery.
For those who are curious, here’s what I’ve been up to recently:
I finished up a large batch of commissions around the early part of the year. Since then, I have been working actively on the story for my comic Sylva. A lot of editing, a lot of revising and a lot of..... basically restarting the story from the beginning.
I first started Sylva nearly 15 years ago, back in my freshman year of high school when, to be quite honest, my writing abilities were utter trash XD I had been editing the same Word document I created when I got my first laptop in my senior year—until this summer when I switched from writing in Microsoft Word to writing in Scrivener. Starting that fresh new document allowed me to see just how much of the story was outdated and obsolete. Now I am rebuilding the story with a bit clearer idea of my vision.
Unfortunately, (if you’ve been following me for a while, prepare to groan) that means the comic pages posted here on dA..... are also obsolete. I am currently working on storyboarding the first chapter. It’s been a pretty slow process. I’ve decided to set the comic up in webtoons format this time around, which has proven to have a bit of a learning curve compared to the print-layout I am used to. I’m also still tinkering with some early portions of chapter 1 and my drawing abilities have become a bit rusty, so it may be some time before I am able to upload any comics. Once they are ready, I am planning to share them both here and on webtoons.
Speaking of plans, there are some things I would like to accomplish in the future (if I can get my lazy butt to lay off some video games):
I would really like to start a youtube channel. I’ve been wanting to for quite some time, but making videos is immensely overwhelming to me, and I’m not quite sure where to begin. I have an idea for the kind of aesthetic I would like to go for, but have no idea how to go about creating it XD
I also would like to open a discord server. I’ve begun the work for setting it up, but I’ve become such a recluse these past few years, that the idea of keeping up with it and talking to multiple people on a daily basis is admittedly intimidating. (A.K.A. being human is hard)
I am still (sort of) using instagram (barely) but I will probably end up archiving all of my posts and starting fresh. I’ve already archived most of them but even still my profile doesn’t have the type of aesthetic that I want.
Also, eventually, I will hopefully start streaming on Twitch again. I would like to start having a scheduled weekly stream (maybe even if I just do non-art related stuff? Games, anyone?), but for now that’s a bit too ambitious. Ironically, this apocalyptic year of 2020 has been a bit of a self-care year for me, and I don’t want to overload myself when I feel like I’m starting to take steps forward again.
And, finally, I would like to thank any of you who have stuck around while I’ve been M.I.A. as well as anyone new who has chosen to watch me despite my inactivity!
**Just a reminder, please do not use/repost my art without my permission. That includes using it as profile pics, avatars, etc. Thank you!**

Drawn by an inexplicable feeling, Serenity rushes into the forest behind her house to find a scruffy boy injured and in need of her help. Soon after, she learns that the boy, Chris, is being hunted for the item he carries- a powerful wand. She forces Chris to let her accompany him on his mission to deliver the wand to his superiors deep in the forest, which turns out to be a land of magic with a long history of struggle and bloodshed. There, Serenity finds herself playing a much bigger role than even she had anticipated.
Thanks for the llama! It means a lot that my humble work caught your eye! Take care and have a llama back!
