Logging in Report for another task again...this time it was over in the clearing. I mentioned earlier that I was needed outside; Naomi was the one who had needed me. She told me there was this Bulbasaur outside that kept hanging around the windows and peering inside, and that they couldn't get it to leave. It was only the other day that I'd taken care of an endemic Bulbasaur, so after exchanging glances with Mis(she was thinking the same thing I was) we both rushed out to see if it was the same one from earlier. It was.

After running around me in a circle and nudging against my leg happily, the Bulbasaur then tugged at a pant leg of mine. I turned back to Naomi and told her I'd follow, and that resulted in me gaining a partner. I didn't mind, prior to today Mis and I had been taking care of tasks on my own, so it was nice to have our friends join us today.

The Bulbasaur took us to the spring clearing, and the only thing I could think of was just..'oh man.' A part of the cliff/rocky wall next to the waterfall had fallen and sent a shockwave to the shelter that was practically underneath it, knocking the makeshift home onto some of the Ivysaur that were in it. I remember telling Naomi as we ran over and started to clear the rocks and planks of wood that the broken shelter would explain why the Bulbasaur had a splinter in it's foot, and that it must've figured out that if it found me again I'd be able to help, which explained why it hung around the base for the morning.

Well, to make a long story short, Naomi, Mis and I (mainly Mis with her Field Assist) were able to clear the rocks and other shelter debris off the Bulbasaur. As Naomi asked each one if they were ok and checked them out, I watched with a slight scowl. I was silent as we walked back to base with the other Ivysaur and Bulbasaur. This frickin' snowstorm was causing so much trouble and injury in so many ways. Though I'm not a base leader, I was beginning to understand how they felt. I talked with Mis about it after we got back(even if she can't really talk), which helped to lighten my mood. We have one more mission up at Soul Point to take care of, by then the day will be over.

I can't begin to even tell you how proud I am of those poses in this task :'D It wasn't the first time I tried that posing in the first part of the splash but something about the posing in the second one, especially with James' hands and foot...I'm so pleased, seriously |D

BUT IVYSAUR

Seriously, how do you draw them?! D: It's the ones based on the endemic line, I have to find the ref... Here's the ref |D   At least I think this is the ref? If not let me know~ 

Also, James isn't pissed per say, but he's just...frustrated I guess? |D I don't blame the poor kid though...it's not easy to sit by and watch animals(or in this case, Pokemon) suffer. Pain is not something us humans are supposed to go through. It's not normal – when a person has pain, it normally indicates something's wrong, yes? I figured that could go into play with James, especially because he's a ranger~

Oh, a little more on the style of the picture: I think I've mentioned previously that I am in LOVE with this brush; it's a pencil brush in procreate, but it looks like chalk or crayon so I call it my chalk/crayon brush |D But yes, I decided to do this task with that brush, and while I have shaded before with said brush(including this picture above), I normally don't like to...but I'm still pleased with how it came out I actually found a new way to shade that's bucket loads easier...a little sloppy, but seeing as the sloppiness can easily be fixed, still a lot easier~ I decided not to blur anything in this picture or give anything a glow like I normally do either, since I didn't want to take away from the chalky effect~
