My passion is making OOAK (one of a kind) dolls of Disney, other animated or real Characters using Barbie or other fashion dolls.
To create a doll in the likeness of a real or animated character requires a good eye for details and proportions. What I try to achieve, is not only to give my dolls a likeness, but also to bring the soul and personality of the figure/person into dollform. I want them to convey feelings, the figure/person probably felt and make the observer to react on them by feeling the same in the moment of looking at my work. Using cheap plastic, mass produced things, that are considered to be unimportant toys and giving them a new significance in the world by transforming them into art with a soul is my desire and goal.
