One Second by lukpazera One Second by lukpazera
It's one of first things I drew using Wacom on PC. That is quite old drawing, one of a few in the series, but I still like it and I'm not ashamed to show ;).

Is the old man a ghost?
Great job. The picture is powerful, it makes me feel uneasy.
Love it.

thanks! you can think of the man whatever fits you, he might be a ghost indeed ;)
the image was inspired by "One Second" song from Paradise Lost.

There is something about his appearance which is ghastly, it looks like he is standing into a different dimension. I can see song here ;)
I was having a look to your gallery and casually spotted some interesting pictures. What is the dog series about?

Dogs of Zone are related to the Zone concept which you can read about in the "Roadside Picnic" book, the equivalent in real world could be exclusion zone around Chernobyl nuclear plant. I'm using this theme quite loosely, it's more about the feel and expression rather then literal depiction.

I see. I find it very interesting how those dogs seem crumbling down on their own paws. Also, I like that you portrayed them as if they were machines. It is disturbing, yet impressive. There is a lot of feeling, indeed.
I never make art on this kind of subjects, I rather represent thoughts about self, and always try to create beauty. I think I am going to watch you. Feel free to come to my profile, as well.

It's not often that I see pencil style drawings done in digital.

But maybe I'm looking in the wrong places.
