Superfrog from Superfrog
Part 5/24 of my Amiga tribute project >3
This month it's one of my all time favourites, Superfrog
Remember when I submitted my Zool pic and said how many Amiga platformers tried to rival Sonic The Hedgehog? Well, this was basically the best attempt at that on the Amiga platformer scene. It was clearly inspired by the blue hedgehog, to the point when Superfrog's legs were animated in a way too similar way while running, yet even when "merely" an inspired game, it did prove to be a successful title.
And I'm sure not kidding here, for one, there was never an official port of this game outside the Amiga (well, not counting the Amiga CD32 console of course), yet most if not all systems have a hacked "port", and I'm not even talking about emulators (cause Amiga was pretty bloody hard to emulate), but actual hacked "ports". Yeah, even PC has one of these, so if you're interested in a great platformer, be sure to give it a shot ^^ (and it should be pretty easy to find, but if you can't find it, let me know, I still have it on my PC, and it's a small file (only 5mb) so I could easily send it to you >3)
And two, I got to know lately, that this game is actually getting a HD remix for the PS3 this year
So I'd advice you check out the title even more, you'd really miss out on a huge chunk of excellent platformer gaming otherwise >3
Other parts of the project - Shadow Of The Beast, Shadow Fighter, Zool, The Chaos Engine, Superfrog, Skeleton Krew, The Speris Legacy, Flashback, Agony, Brutal: Paws of Fury, Fightin' Spirit, Ruff 'N' Tumble, SwitchBlade, Lionheart, The Lost Vikings, Brian The Lion, Wolfchild, Gods, Entity, Franko: The Crazy Revenge, Hired Guns, Turrican, The Killing Game Show, Yo! Joe!

Superfrog was once a prince until turned into a frog by a witch.
He's the superhero even to this day
