Description
Rib from Skeleton Krew.
Part 6/24 of my Amiga tribute project >3
This time is one of that system's greatest shoot 'em ups, the Skeleton Krew
Yes, following the MK trend, it's spelled with a "K" |D (you guys have no idea how many games followed that trend |D)
This great title was unlucky enough to be released during Amiga's dying hour, yet at the same time, proved to be one of the best shooters for that system. It was only available for the newer Amigas (1200 and up, while most peopel had A500 or A600, though it did work on A600 HD), and was one of the very few titles that made people exchange their older Amigas for the new ones >D
The game had a great, heavy metal looking design from stages to characters, and the music while not the best I've heard, was very fitting and enjoyable. All in all, the adventures of Spine, Rib and Joint were certainly a memorable title that Amiga deserved before it was gone (it did get some new titles later on, but nothing this good, just as any dying system), hehe, and why I chose Rib out of the three? I think you can guess the reason, or rather both of 'em >3 (or three, considering her poofy 80's hairstyle which I love so much ^^)
And by the way, I hope you can see that what she's holding in her left hand is her oversized space gun, I still suck at drawing guns |3
Other parts of the project - Shadow Of The Beast, Shadow Fighter, Zool, The Chaos Engine, Superfrog, Skeleton Krew, The Speris Legacy, Flashback, Agony, Brutal: Paws of Fury, Fightin' Spirit, Ruff 'N' Tumble, SwitchBlade, Lionheart, The Lost Vikings, Brian The Lion, Wolfchild, Gods, Entity, Franko: The Crazy Revenge, Hired Guns, Turrican, The Killing Game Show, Yo! Joe!
