Not always my favorite pages are full of efx, sometime they just need a nice complementary palette :)

Egon's comic book design is so handsome! I also love the color palette on this page, especially for the inside of the library! The colors are warm and calm, and it makes me feel content. Good job! Good job

Love the Stitch giff, he's my favorite character, so thanks for the compliments and the giff :)

Aw, no prob! I love Stitch, too! By the way, how DO you come up with these beautiful color palettes?

I look for ideas everywhere, in other artists, tv shows and illustrations. I keep them all at hand and use them as inspiration :)

Ah, that makes sense!
Also, I just wanna compliment the color palettes you use for Egon. He's my favorite character, and Dan always draws him so cutely (I'll admit I'm a bit of an Egon fangirl)! The colors you use on Mr. Spengler only enhance the cuteness- ten-fold! I'm going to try and buy the second comic in the series for Easter, to treat myself! (Seeing the panels and pages on your account made me really curious about the comics, and once I bought the first one, I was HOOKED!)

Dan's Egon is amazing, they all are, to be honest :) but I'm glad the colors match his awesomeness as well. I hope you enjoy the 2nd book, and if you enjoy it enough, try buying some old TPB, some are better than others, but you will find something to love on each one of them!

I will! Hopefully, I can buy the whole series as of thus far! Oh, I'm so excited to get my hands on the second book! >u< Thanks for all the hard work you put into these books! It really does mean a lot, because, really- where would a comic book be without it's gorgeous colors and palettes? GIF Steven Universe - Wink Keep up the good work, sir!

I'm really in love with your art. It fits the Ghostbusters stories perfectly and it's so full of life and character :) Also the background references and shout-outs are perfect and I usually spend my second reading just scanning the pages looking for them!

How do you work, if it's okay to ask? Do you do your pencils with actual pencils then ink digitally? (Incidentally, which program do you use?) Do you always do your colours, or do you work with a colourist?

Hey, I'm glad you like the book and enjoy looking for eastern eggs, I like those as well :) I think you're a bit confused, the penciler is Dan Schoening (check any page I've uploaded, it will take you to his gallery), I'm the colorist haha. I'm not entirely sure how he works, I've seen his pencils and I think he uses Photoshop to darken them and to crate the whole page; I use Photoshop as well to color with lots and lots of layers.

Uh, what's Photoshop?? I'm just a 14 year old teenager.

It's a computer program that allows pixels manipulation, it allows you to create anything you're brain can come up with :)

Ah. I only have a laptop my school loaned me. Thanks for the tip!!!

...I was. I'm awfully sorry. (And calling myself every kind of idiot right now - in English and French. The perks of being bilingual.) I really admire your palettes in the comics, though. How do you work out things like colours and lights, with the writer and/or penciller? (Like something that takes place in the late afternoon will have an orangey golden tint, night is blue, etc. - do the drawings come with notes on colour?) Also, did you end up doing more research on backgrounds or clothes for the International run than the previous volumes, since it takes place abroad?

Haha you have absolutely nothing to worry about, I thought it was a funny mistake :) I don't follow any kind of rule to color the pages, Dan is the one who does all the research when drawing the pages, he sends all the references and after reading the script with a few color notes here and there and different times of day, and choosing the color of the ghost, I just go through all my palette references from different colorists I have and choose a new one, that's it! no real science behind it :)

Love it as always. Feel bad for egon though, its like hes playing such a small role at the moment, though something tells me his project is going to play a big part later.

Well, he did get....you know.

I'm surprised no books are flying behind Egon ^_^ Unless Eleanor was, indeed, captured in GB TVG.
