So, I was looking to check in on Know Your Meme this morning, and I noticed that the interface had abruptly changed, my user page was gone, and I was logged out and couldn't log back in. On checking my e-mail account, I noticed a message stating that I was banned for "2 warns, 2 suspensions, ignoring repeated warnings, undoing mod edits, NC uploads, furry vageebees". Now, I'm really not sure what any of this is referring to. I've contacted the mod team, and hopefully this unfortunate misunderstanding will be cleared up soon.
EDIT: I have not received any word from the mod team despite three attempts to contact them. At this point, I think I may need a proxy to help me make my case. Here is my latest attempt to appeal my ban:
Dear Know Your Meme Staff,
A couple of days ago, my account "Luigifan" was banned for “2 warns, 2 suspensions, ignoring repeated warnings, undoing mod edits, NC uploads, furry vageebees”. I do not feel like this ban was fair or justified, as the original warning and suspensions were a few years ago, and I have taken them to heart; I have avoided uploading anything showing private parts or excessive gore since the first time I was told not to. I also have no idea what "NC uploads" or "furry vageebees" are, and I do not feel like the tags I put on my images such as "cleavage" or "bare midriff" are so overly hurtful that they are worth banning over. I would like to be able to read the site policies to determine precisely what I did wrong, or to contact a mod directly to discuss the problems they have with my behavior, but... I can't without an account. In any case, I'm thoroughly distraught to be kicked out of this community, as I truly love sharing art and videos and making comments here. I just want another chance to come back and clean up my act for good — I know this is my third attempt to contact you, but I have received no reply to my first two messages, and I don't feel like I have given sufficient information about my account or how truly sad and confused I am to lose it. Can you please explain the ban to me in more detail and extend some sort of communication line for me to properly appeal it? I don't want to have to say goodbye to this website and community that I love.
The Internet Wanderer, Matthew "Luigifan" Bradley
EDIT (July 11, 2018): Welp. After e-mailing Literally Media to discuss the issue and being told to start a new account, I did so... and it got banned within an hour. I guess that means I'm doomed to never know my meme again. Buh-bye.
