My Bio

▬▬ About Me/My Submissions ~ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Greetings. Over the years I have primarily contributed as an artist, short story writer and amateur photographer. For my art, most of what I upload is traditional with a perspective that caters to mood—usually in an attempt to bring attention to subjects, styles, media and characters that are often overlooked.

Personality-wise people may find I'm fairly supportive and easygoing, provided they possess an ounce of courtesy and common sense. Frankly I lack patience for individuals who only think about themselves and their interests when interacting, are daft enough to uncritically accept rumours and leap to conclusions about others than seek all the facts, or have a tribalistic “you're either with me or against me” approach to the most trivial of disagreements.

▬▬ My Hobbies/Interests ~ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

I have an appreciation for the the early 20th century, antiques, tweed countryside attire, urban history, classic movies and animation, 90s video games, farming and construction equipment, severe weather, world building, cartography, architecture, anthropomorphic literature, mustelids, landscaping, working on trucks, customising R/C models, trucking, trains/model railroading, RMS ocean liners, WWI aviation and vexillology.

In addition, I am a fan of the Secret of NIMH, Redwall and Welkin Weasels book series. A fair amount of my art, stories and interest in wildlife education ensuing from those inspirations. When it comes to mustelids, the latter is often a thankless job, but someone has to care enough about them to put harmful misinformation to bed.

Finding Dory - Derp Sea Lion Icon Did you know that sea lions are related to weasels?

They're distant relatives, yes, but not directly related. :)

Hey, anotha weasel lover!!I am a dummy!  I really love all your pictures because it mixes weasels with nostalgic stuff. Seems to be my dream image!! Might sound a little strange, but I've always wondered how exactly I thought about weasels when I was really little.Giggle
Thank you! It's always nice to know of more people who appreciate mustelids. :) I too love seeing weasels in depicted in vintage settings; especially the early 1900s.

Haha, hopefully you thought of them fondly. ;)
Thanks a lot for watching, I'll be watching back. I like seeing the backgrounds and environments you depicted.
I thought I was watching you, but I wasn't...? Had to make up for it now! It's always a pleasure to meet and talk to other mustelid enthusiasts, so let me know if you'd like to exchange notes or talk sometime.

I'm not on FA, but I like to browse the site for stuff that can't be found here, as well as keeping up with friends. I really enjoyed reading your thoughts on the poor treatment of mustelids in media, referring to this journal entry.
