This is a short journal explaining in part, my reasons for my previous journal about trying to do very little art. Here's the biggest "problem": Currently, I'm in my junior year of high school and I'm shooting for the full IB Program Diploma. If you are unaware of what that is, let me explain. An IB course is a class designed to function like a college-level course, with much more work, detail in learning, and analysis than a regular level class. Three of the courses I'm taking, English, Chemistry, and History, are HL (Higher Level) classes, which means they're taken over two years, and will ultimately result in exams which will provide me with college credits (if I pass them). I'm also enrolled in IB French at a standard level, and I plan to take Math Studies and Global Politics at the SL level next year as well in order to get my full 6 exams for the diploma.
So, because I'm currently in 4 IB classes, I have a lot of reading and homework to do each night. Additionally, my pre-Calculus class, which is not IB, still provides me with homework every night. Additionally, for the last three weeks, my father was in the hospital and a health rehabilitation center because of a blood infection, so my family would visit him several times a week. Thus, I simply have not had the time to focus anything on Deviantart. Other things which I put above this hobby are other activities of mine which I've been working on; such as writing and producing videos, both of which I do after finished with my homework and study. Some of you may know if you read the descriptions of my drawings that I'm currently working on novels, the first of which I hope to get published by the end of 2020. Currently, the draft for the fourth novel is at about 122,000 words, and still has nearly 100,000 to go, so I write about 1200-1600 words every night.
Deviantart is just something I don't have time for that much anymore. If I find an opportunity, I will take it, because I also love drawing, even if I'm still not the best at it. I write these journals for my watchers to see in order to receive feedback, if anybody cares, from you all. So, if you have any questions or comments, feel free to send a note or make a reply.
