The eyries are getting Maraquan on their day! OMG!!!! *runs around and crashes into a wall* Whoohoo!!!! YES!!! At long last that Maraquan pb that I paid over a million np for is going to finally get used! :D I'm just soooo happy that Dameon will finally be painted. XD I have a picture of him started, but unless I really put on the afterburners there is no way I'm going to have it finished by then. Oh well...I can use it maybe in the BC or in the AG later. :D
We're an ubberly nutty bunch we know. For us old families, we came over in covered wagon; horse back and even some on foot. Our ancestors survived the long haul through the other states; the blistering cold and the scorching heat. Survived rattlesnakes; coyotes and God only knows what else! We've fought for our independence from Mexico (take it how you will). We fought for both sides in the Civil War (before Sam Houston died we were a Union state, wasn't very long really). During both World Wars Texans stepped up to the plate, but never as much as they did during World War 2. Before America was even in the second war ex-Texas Ra
My family either has no plans for evacuating or are not exactly expressing them to me. I'm not "Oh my god, get me out of here!" worried, but I am worried enough that if we do evacuate what will we come back to? If the hurricane hits Corpus Christi my little town is up shit creek. I know we have insurance, but I don't know what it all covers and I'm kinda scared that I'll come home and everything will be gone. I love my house. I was brought home from the hospital to here...I don't want to leave, but by the looks of things...I'll have no choice and my house, well, if we do leave may the hurricane spare it. I don't know if we'll be able to a
Yeah, you know what today is...I don't have any waxing words about it. I have nothing really of interest to say at this time.
All I can do is remember that day...remember what I was doing and what happened. It's sad how just as you think your getting on your feet another catastrophe happens. Are we strong enough to survive the 9/11 attacks...we answered this question in 2001 in a strong clear voice. We answered with the words of the undefeated nation that had never under gone such trauma before in the present history. We answered, in our oh so arrogant manner that Americans are known the world over for, YES!
This is 2005 now...are we st
...For my little brother. XD
Yeah, so he's got the hardest assed math teacher down there. Going to get that changed later because he should NOT be in the honors math class, that has to be the dumbest thing those morons down there at the school have done to my family as far as my brother is concerned. And, he signed up for Theater Arts and Spanish and they gave him Art and P.E. instead. Dude! Way to kill the kid's soul!
Anyway, yeah, this needed to be done. XD My first day is Thursday. :D As Wensday I register for classes. :)
