Official Piss Me off Week!?
A lot of things have been happening this week that have totally pissed me off for any number of reasons. However, this one takes the cake! My dogs got out sometime while I was taking a nap in the afternoon. They'd gotten out before, but the electric fence was always turned way down, so I always figured it was because of that. Anyway, I can't find Annie...the bird dog, who after I realized she was gone I had to do a head count of my cats, because we've had to stop her from eating Dip Stick. (If anybody has ever watched the 101 Dalmations movie with Glenn Close, the little Dalmation with the solid black tail is called Dip Stick, because it looked as though it's tail had been dipped in oil. Same reason applies to this kitten of mine) Anyway, all the cats were accounted for...thank god...and I brought Hank in and after doing a search for Annie in my car, I called animal control.
As if that weren't enough to piss me off...I let Hank out into the backyard (the hole was still there, I'm no good at manual labor when I'm pissed off...or any time given that I'm a hemaphlegic (some on who is disabled on one side of there body, in my case the right) to let him pee and poop. The dog's got great manners and'll hold til he's let out. Anyway, he leaves again because the dog across the road is fun, I guess. O_o And so I'm chasing him down after realizing this and he runs into the yard where he originally from. I finally get the smart idea to go get a squeaky toy to lure him home and it works...until this blond bitch, I'd say around maybe 13 or 14 comes into my yard and proceeds to ask me "if I could keep a better eye on my dog because she has a puppy in her backyard", which if we want to get really technical was Hank's backyard before it was the puppy's.
I tell her that she has absolutely nothing to worry about from my dog and that he got out...by this time I'm pissed just because I had to chase Hank down once when he's the "good" child of the two dogs. That and the little shit head was talking to me like I was some freaking kid...like I wasn't responsible enough to take care of my own animals. (Note: If you're a decade younger than me...act afraid, and address me as "sir", it's a hell of a lot safer to do that than ask with out a "please, sir" or just a "sir". I'm 22! Not TWO!!
Anyway, she leaves my yard after I give her a go to hell glare, but she doesn't wait for me to get Hank into the house so, I have to go chase him down again and all the while, I'm tempted to just yell at her for being such a dumb ass and coming into my yard in the first god damned place while I was trying to open the door to the house, which it's currently sticking so I have to put all my weight behind it to get it open.
I was tempted to call the cops on her for trespassing because I sure the hell didn't invite her into my yard OR talk to her parents and tell them they need to keep her on a tighter leash before somebody get's pissed off at her additude.
Geh! So frustrating! And I'd just like to say that I REALLY cant stand people who get on other peoples cases about "not controlling" their animals when it is ENTIRELY unnecessary! I once had a woman yell at me to "keep my dog under control" after her dumb POODLE went and slipped off its leash and tried to attack my GERMAN SHEPHERD who for her part did just like I told her to and got behind me and let me handle the situation and keep the drated, snarling poodle at bay. And that woman just WATCHED all this happen! And THEN when I kicked at the dog when it tried to make a lunge at MY dog she yelled at ME!!! WTF?! God, some people have absolutely no common sense and should not even be allowed to be within a MILE of an animal! Geh! Anyway, I hope all of YOUR animal problems get sorted out! Good luck with that!
*nods* I hope so too. What I hate is that this person was younger than me and talk to me like I was 5. I mean, seriously, I can make a complete ass out of myself and say I was drunk (I don't drink, but no one here in this town knows that). What's her excuse?
I really don't know. And although I am not as old as you I hate being talked down to just as much... Its so infuriating and degrading at the same time! Like, as if it is being assumed that I dont have the mental capasity needed to grasp even the simplest of concepts! And oftentimes it just so happens that the person talking down to me is in more need of the treatment than I am - just like what happened to you.
