STORY
<dub>It was a bit of a bumpy ride but everyone arrived to White Blood Racecourse just fine. It was pretty cold here, snowing more than home, but that didn't bother anyone, they were used to cold. The lot settled in and waited around till before the race to start getting ready. The mares coat was clipped prior to coming to these races. The nerves floating around the air were easy to catch, as the snow track can be very slippery on the corners.

This was the mares first start, and everyone was hoping she'd at least place, they weren't even sure if she'd load into the barriers without a struggle. Although Whisky was calm, Alex wasn't so much, she hasn't raced much compared to Adam and this was the first time going overseas. She sighed as she put on her gear, not sure what this race held.

The horses were lead around the ring and once mounted, kept her grip, if they slipped or fell, it was gonna hurt, so Alex wanted to hold on for dear life. They were put onto the track and the black and white mare fought for Alex's grip, she wanted to run but it wasn't quite time for that. They cantered to the barriers and waited to be loaded. Alex breathed heavy, she was loaded. She sat on top of the mare, standing tall in the gates, waiting for the gates to fly open, she gripped onto her mane and got ready.
