Photography comments first:
The Sun was in such a hurry to disapear behind the trees and houses, omg this was a rush!!!!!
Craft comments:
It's the skirt from last year, the one I wore here:

Note: looking at my skirt right now, the photo above (orange bralette) gives a more accurate colour than the ones I just posted, I'll have to go back in photoshop and fix it... later
Edit: done, hope it looks more accurate now
It's almost the perfect skirt actually for me. It's the 3rd itteration in the skirt question, the other 2 being:

The pink one is very useful and I like it very much. Its problems are:
- waistband too tight, though I did loosen up the ellastic, it's still uncomfortable for me personally. As the fabric is tripple gauze it's too heavy for a light ellastic.
- the pockets are set in the side seams and they look terrible
- the shape is a bit to sacky for my liking
The blue one looks amazing and I did wear it the winter before a lot, but:
- it's way too heavy, too bluky, and too wide. I need a petticoat to support all that fabric and honestly now that I feel even worse physically I gravitate more towards lighter garments for comfort.
I will eventually take it appart and make something else out of the fabric
So the light blue one is:
- light!!! It is double gauze, the ellastic is soft and it does not kill my stomach
- the pockets are perfect! I already came up with better pockets in the 2nd skirt, but these are even bigger and prettier and more comfy
- it has a slightly trapezoidal shape, as opposed to the 2 others that are rectangular, and I prefer how that looks on me
- it has almost all visible stitching done by hand and I just LOVE the look!!!!!
What else to expect:
A photoshoot for the crochet top in the photo
Almost finished pieces to come: a knitted bralette, a crochet cardigan, an update for my watermelon cardigan
Projects that I have to start: 2 dresses and an apron
More me-made wardrobe
