I'm pretty late for Christmas, but I still want to wish you all happy holidays from the bottom of my heart!
I know this year I haven't been very active (and that I already wrote this last year
), but while hoping next year will be better (I seriously need a schedule to make that happen!), I'm still very grateful for the watchers and friends I got here, so I felt it would be a good idea to keep this little tradition of the holiday feature!
This year I'm only doing one because I realised it was going to be as long as last year's second one. Due to my inactivity the new watchers were very few, while many old ones likely left the site, so there were less works to feature since I usually choose only one from each person, among those created during the last year.
Please tell me if I forgot someone, and I'm sorry if I didn't include works posted during the last days, I went through the profiles last week so I might have lost something...
Now, here come the artworks! Some of you really, really improved this year, and we've got a wonderful collection! ^^
(no particular order here, just a composition that looked good to me!)
Fallout: Bowling with Death. Indooroopilly, Queensland. Ruins of Brisbane.
The air was still and the night was silent as she hopped down along the golf course with hersubmachine gun clutched tightly in one paw. Her ears twitched in the starlight as she stopped and pulled out the aging, yet still reliable, Geiger counter. Still in the safe zone, for now. She turned her head and looked out across the Brisbane River, at the massive hole that was once the city of Brisbane. The Reds had blasted the city to hell and back and no one went there these days.
Well. Nearly no one.
There was, of course, the increasingly common survivalist who hid in the outskirts of Queensland's former cities. There were gangs and pirates, marauders, monsters, misfits, and whomever else called the rubble home.
Not generally the sort of people one has afternoon tea with. Zoe was sure about that.
The reason she was here herself was fairly simple. There were some lads back in Redlands who had been looking for some goods, but had been chase
Tori and Gerald loved their son Brandon. Gerald raised him to be the brave and strong man that he is today, whilst Tori did everything she can to make her son happy, making their bond stronger. However at age 7, Brandon was forced to listen to his parents argue all night, making him feel guilty. He decided to seek help by sneaking out of his bedroom window and climb down the tree. However, he fell and had a horrible head injury. Luckily, Brandon recovered from his head injury at the hospital, whilst his mother lost her memory completely. Gerald lies to Brandon saying that while he was unconscious, Tori wanted to abandon him, hence the reason why she drove off, leading into that car accident. He then tells Brandon that he was the one who was taking Brandon to the hospital. Brandon fell for the lie and started to feel sad that his mother doesn't love him anymore.
As Brandon grew older, he started to hate his mother more and more as the years went by. A girl named Rena also had to l
Hope you enjoyed! ^^
Again, Happy Holidays and a great, artistic New Year!
