Deep in the darkness of a forsaken keep that was more a mausoleum of the evil and the damned. More to keep the evil contained and kept from escaping it's horrid confines. Cursed in elder times when the Grey king still held sway over the ashen wastes that was his domain.
Destroyed in a cataclysmic eruption when a legendary group of heroes slain the mad king of the dead realm. Dispersing the Grey knight of the long march and the counsel of that dread empire. The depths of the keep stirred a swirling of dust and ash around two eldritch green lights.
Forming a skull from the ash and dust, around the dark green eldritch eyes of flame. Forming the rest of a human like skeleton with wizardry robes reforming itself. The skeletal rictus with blackened teeth with grey flesh forming around the bones.
Grinning as his ancient body reforms and his minions begin to awaken. Even reassemling themselves as well, the cursed forsaken keep reawakens with its current ruler. Surrounded by the still forms
