This group focuses on Low poly art so we require that submissions adhere to some tri count guidelines, we always want the work to be as low as possible for its function, so submissions will be judged on a case by case basis by the admin. Please try to follow these guidelines when choosing work to submit. All work should be considered Game ready art. Most work should remain under 5000 tri but we will accept work up to 10 000tri if the tri count is well balanced and suitable to the work. Full environments we will allow up to 100k tri counts. larger objects require more polys but the smaller the prop the lower its count should be, If your apple is 10k tri it wont be accepted. Work with excessive edge loops, smoothness and beveling will not be accepted. We will not accept any sculpts or models with Sub divisions. Only models created by the artist submitting them are aloud. No poser/stock/art pulled from games/screenshots. The lower the tri count the greater chance your work will be accepted. Submission All submissions are judged and voted on by the admin before they are accepted in the gallery. When submitting your work please include the tri count in the description of your work otherwise you may be asked for it by the admin and this will delay the submissions process. If no response is given the work will be declined Membership Membership - Open to anyone - Automatic - Gallery submissions need approval Contributor - Application required, you must have sufficient knowledge of low poly work as shown in your gallery. - Submissions to the group are automatically accepted - You will be required to approve members gallery submissions |
Hey everyone, im new here, this is my first post! Ive decided to learn blender and started with low poly modeling. i was hoping to get some feedback on the face and eye styles. Which fits best or are there any other styles of eye i could use that would work better with the low poly style?
Im not a real artist like all you guys, im just trying to learn and get better, these are just some base meshes but im not quite happy with the faces somehow and feedback from real artists would be really appriciated. Thanks in advance, Brett.
