I created this group for people who appreciate/create low poly art and pixel art but paintings are also accepted.


There are different types of "low poly"
These are my definitions so they aren't official or anything, message me if you think anything here needs editing/ clarification

Low poly:
3d model that uses a low amount of polygons but has high/mid resolution painting

Paper poly/ clay poly:
3d model that uses low amount of polygons which is modelled to the likeness of the real life thing, uses basic colors and no UV maps.

Pixel poly.
Again uses low amount of polygons but uses a low resolution (usually a power of 2 e.g., x16, x64) UV map and each pixel is fine tuned to capture the likeness of what it would look like in real life.
