This piece was an interesting one. The goal here was just pure experimentation with mediums. I scrapped it a number of times, even set fire to it in areas! Frustrated that I ruined it with too many textures and stains. 🙈I NEVER like to give up on a piece... However, after it sitting on the desk staring at me I decided to attack it once more and funnily enough after some more splatter, tears, scratches and refining 'Mephisto’ presented himself to me! I'm actually rather fond of this piece now! 🙃
