Little did I know that when Boots came into our lives a year and a half ago, she would bless us with a very unusual litter of kittens. She is a pure black short haired cat and the father of the kittens is your typical tabby. After doing a bit of research on these kittens I have thus far concluded that we have 2 maine coons (1 black, the other brown tabby) 2 russian blues (very distinct coats) and a bramble (wiry fur just like a terrier dog) Raising these kittens has been an utter delight and have provided us with endless material to photograph. There are so many deviations on DevianArt that I never seem to run out of things to look at. Oftentimes I am envious of all the amazing places that people seem to get to. As someone that hasn't travelled anywhere in what seems like a lifetime, I thank all those Deviants who show me the rest of the world through their eyes. As you can see from my latest deviations, we have a new addition to our family, Boots. I just happened to spot her on one of our photowalks at an abandoned house. I only saw her by chance, peering out at me near a little shack on the side of the road. I think we may have been the first humans she had ever been in contact with.
