That's great, but ... is it really one shot? The camera data is puzzling me: A Canon Ixus? 6 mm focal length?

yeah its really one shot, taken with an ixus 90is, it must record into the metadata what zoom i have the lens at.

Thank you for the reply! Okay, so the shown metadata are not correct. I already thought that you were using a zoom because the clouds appear so close. But then how did you manage the depth of field? However it's a great and very impressive photo, almost surreal.

This picture is particularly enchanting to me because of the clouds floating right on top of the wave. As if the world might come down right with the wave, the sky mixing with water to end the world in a giant whirlpool. It's great stuff, something that I never see in my day-to-day basis. Thanks for posting it!
