Some of you may have friends and family in Japan, like me. I'm grateful that they are all safe for now. The first week following the tsunami aftermath was a nightmare for me and my family... The phone lines were down or not very reliable, so it was difficult getting through to even Taiwan. Things are far from over and while Japan will definitely recover, they need a lot of help before things go back to normal. I want to help my loved ones in Japan, but I don't have a lot of money, only time. Argh. I keep forgetting about this blasted account.Had a bit of adventure last year doing some work in LA. Can't say I miss the congested traffic and ill designed intersections, but the area I was in was nice enough and safe.Got some works in progress, but I'll post some things that I've done between last visit and now for the time being. Right now, my portfolio site is in the middle of being transferred from one web host to another. Hopefully, it'll happen quickly and the new host will be much more dependable.

So, uh, I guess I should put a journal post up...I keep forgetting about my deviant account since my blog is easier to post to. Sorry guys!I went to GDC, but it was kind of gloomy. It was much smaller than past years, but that's to be expected. Tough times are here after all. Most companies weren't even accepting resumes (they told everyone to submit online). That's understandable too, since some of them get TONS. I did manage to submit a few though.
