"Tar-Minastir built a tall tower on Oromet, a hill near Andunie on the west coast of Numenor. He spent much of his time looking westward toward the Undying Lands from his tower... Tar-Palantir also often visited the tower on Oromet near Andunie to look westward toward the Undying Lands from which the ships of the Elves used to come before Ar-Gimilzor banned them."
