Story

Cheyenne scrolled through the pages of the Rosenwood Warmblood website. How had she allowed her sister to talk her into buying one of these horses? They had enough on their hands already. Well, they are quite beautiful. And as she thought this, she saw the most beautiful Rosenwood Warmblood. The horse was the 48th import from Rosenwood Stables. She was a black filly with three white socks and a blaze right down her face. The background only enhanced her beauty.

It was then that Maji came into the barn's office. "Hey, Cheyenne." She peered over her sister's shoulder and at the screen. "This the one?" Cheyenne snorted softly. "I'll take that as a yes." She looked at the filly again. "The only reason I told you to keep looking is because I knew you'd find one you just absolutely fall in love with." Cheyenne snorted again.

A day later and they were off the island and to the sales. The sisters got a room at a hotel near the sales, as they planned on staying there a while, until they knew for certain whether they had gotten the horse. They headed to the sales, to see the filly and the other horses, in case they wanted to get her a friend. Cheyenne was watching with glorified eyes as they passed the stalls. She looked in each one hopefully, looking for new prospect and the filly.

A little down the way, they found the filly. "Oh, lookie! She's magnificent! I hope we get her!" Cheyenne said giddily. Maji was laughing at her sister, leaning against the stall door. Cheyenne was literally leaning into the stall, beaming. When she realized her sister was laughing at her, she focused her attention to Maji and glared at her. "What?"

"You've never been this excited. It's funny." Maji finally finished laughing and eventually came over to see the filly. "She is gorgeous. But shouldn't we get her a friend? A stallion or colt? So we can have little Rosenwood babies running around?"

Cheyenne thought for a minute. "Maybe we should wait. Until we know for sure that this filly is of good prospect and is good for the bloodlines." She smiled. "Although I'm certain she is. Just look at her!" Maji laughed again.

"Come on, we should look for new prospect just in case." Cheyenne wouldn't budge. Maji poked her hard in the side. "Come on, Cheyenne. Leave this horse in peace." She finally moved and continued down the aisle, looking at the other horses.

Behavior

Personality:
Player is a feisty filly and enjoys having people and horses chase her. Literally. She could run all day if she'd tried, having others trailing after her. She is extremely playful and boisterous. She's also got an extremely loud mouth and enjoys using it. Player is a sweet little girl, however, but is careless and clutzy.
Quirks:
  • Loud, boisterous
  • Careless, clutzy
Fears: Bugs, mud
Horse Vs. Handler: Player is not easy to handle, because she always runs, making her handlers run after her.

Background

History
Player is a very vocal filly. She loves having the whole ranch hear her songs, which, unfortunately, are not very melodic. Despite this, she will wake everyone on the ranch with the sounds of her voice. It's as if she's reminding everyone that she's there. She will neigh at everything that moves, whether it be a car, a tumbleweed, or a mouse, but if it comes for her, she darts away.

Player loves to move. She can't seem to stay in one place, and has to keep her feet moving. She is typically seen racing around the pasture, or playing with the other horses in her herd. She loves to horse around, but can't stand to get mud on her coat, so typically keeps the physical contact limited. When it comes to handlers coming in the pasture with her, she often races away and plays, forcing the handlers to race after her.

This filly is a very loyal filly, and loves the people and animals on the ranch. She often shows her affection by resting her head on a handler's shoulder or head--which also may lead to her chewing on your hair if you're not careful--but to dogs and other animals, she lays beside them, having a cuddle buddy for the short amount of time that she stays there.
