This makes for an interesting story.
I was kinda drawn to the way the arm and hair are shaded mostly cause it's easy to observe how you effectively showed how light hits a form. It's a good example for when I'm learning more about colour and light:3

On a more general note, I find interesting that deer is a universal symbol for nature, in most if not all cultures. Maybe it's a side effect of globalization though

This is really beautiful and nice composition:) Although, the deer really remind me to the painting " The monarch of the Glen" By Edwin Henry Landseer. Perhaps you take the reference from that painting? :
