Here's Scarlet, Olivia and Jack's mother and Luna's aunt.

Remember when I said she died right after birthing Jack and was reborn 20 years later as a mermaid? Wellllllll... I feel like that's too sad of a backstory, missing out on your kids' entire childhoods. So, I'm changing it.

Now, in this new backstory, Scarlet lived through Jack's birth and was able to properly raise her kids and see them grow. She's diligent, making sure that the quality of life at her mansion, and at the swimming pool she works as a lifeguard at, is the best it can be. She became a mermaid in 2017 when she was abducted by a merfolk death cult that wanted to eraticate all humans by turning them into merfolk, but was put to an end when Olivia attacked them to save her mother. In this newfound mermaid form, Scarlet’s singing and swimming skills are well above-average for her age, and she can grow out her hair at will and without limits as well as use it as extra arms.
