my journal subjects are so eloquent
donno what's up with the drawing stuff. everything's comin out weird. don't really feel like coloring, either
jaiden's HUGE now. thinks he's two and a half or something. he'll be one and a half on the 22nd of december WOOT!!!
recently got into a sorta weekly drinking thing. not sure if it'll happen again though -- my inhibitions are what keep me sane, and are apparently the glue that keep my friendships alive xD
favorite part of drinking is DANCING! it's the -only- time I'll willfully dance without thinking twice.
working out as much as I can, too. my personal trainer (Robert, a very good friend and co-worker) works out with me. We do legs on day, arms the next, then back to legs. our goal is to get rid of this baby belly (it's getting -much- better!! yaaaay!) and firm up my legs and arms.
so far I'm stronger, which always makes me happy, and while I haven't really lost weight I've changed shape. he says my butt looks nicer xD
the hubby's got a girlfriend now (baby-daddy, not hubby, sorry! )
he's totally in love with her and she is with him and it's so cute xD she looks -just- like Willow from Buffy. I found this amusing because 1. Jason has a photo of Willow -framed- because he likes her so much, and 2. they didn't even realize it until I met her and teased Jay about it. hehehe
meeting very awesome people at work. lots of things to learn about life, people, the stars, and of course myself. abilities, just how much I am capable of, and whether those talents will be of any use to anyone =^.^=
YAY FOR SMOKED CHEDDAR ON KEEBLER CLUBS!!

a comic maybe!
I've toyed with the idea of doing a comic for years. I've even tried to start one multiple times (if anybody remembers AnimeCafe, that's the only one that ever lasted as long as it did, and I wasn't the only artist). Even Jason tried to help with ideas, suggesting his crimson fairies.
After debating for a week or so, and trying to figure out what would make a good comic, I realized I'd written a bunch of story beginnings that never really got completed. I've still got those ideas running around in my head, mind you, I just never sat down and let the words pour out.
I'm hoping I'll be more reliable if it involves drawing, particularly if people like them and want more (an audience always makes a performer/artist feel motivated to do more!)
I've got a few links here to my old stories, some of which have a Part 2 in the comments section. They're hosted on Deviantart, which means you'll need an account for some (the Ninjaen Hero has one sex scene, although it's mostly implied, nothing totally graphic).
Here're the links:
Murder in the CityNina leaned forward, her foot tapping rapidly on the plush red carpet beneath the cozy table she shared with her boyfriend. This one has two parts, second part linked within the comments if the first part is interesting enough
Tom glanced at Nina, tilting his head to one side and raising a brow.
"You're tapping again, Darling. Is something bothering you?"
She lifted her gaze, then quickly focused on her food again. "What makes you think something is bothering me?"
Her bottom lip found its way between her teeth, as she rearranged her mashed potatos.
"I thought the potatos looked better on the other side, to be honest. Maybe you could add some of my peas as decoration."
Abruptly Nina straightened, her fork clattering on her plate as she grabbed the sides of her chair.
"Tom, I can't see you anymore."
Tom's eyebrows raised, almost comically. Considering how close he and Nina had become over the past few months, this was
a huge shock. He slowly placed his fork on the table near his plate, jumping slightly when it banged loudly against his water glass.
"What brought this on, Darling? There ar
Seras Love - first part An old old story, part of it was a dream, it is still one of my favorites. 2-parter
His lips descended on hers with the gentle longing only she could spur in his loins pressing against
her stomach. Her back archeed instincitvely as her lips moaned his name into his parting lips.
She awoke with a start, the name still trembling on her lips.
"Ke...To...Le...now what was his name?" She stammered to herself, "I just had it..."
She sighed and pulled her blankets up to her chin, lost in the memories of the same dream she'd been
having since she was old enough to read, when she had first learned of a most marvelous emotion that was
difficult to lavish on just one person. Generally, it took several fellows before a woman discovered her
one and only. What the woman did with those fellows, however, usually made for a story interesting
enough to write pages and pages about.
She curled to her side, legs tucked up under her arms, and slowly drifted off, remembering the last
bits of her dream in hopes that it would continue itself so she could learn the name of the man to whom
Being Real - Ch.1 Coming Home This one hits close to home for me. Also a 2-parter.
Chapter One - Coming Home
hometown's never quite the same once you've been gone for seven years.
Mandy had realized this, of course, but had still harbored some secret
hopes, until they'd been slowly slashed to pieces during her first
half-hour after getting off the bus at the local greyhound.
she should've realized it when she'd seen malls instead of the usual
stretches of flatland-covered-in-grass, though that was easily
dismissed as "we aren't that close yet". Even as she'd seen the station
coming up too quickly, she'd insisted to herself that she had one more
to go, despite the large, familiar re-painted sign that said "Welcome to
Gavingston" which was somehow suspended from sky-hooks or some such, since
it hovered over the roof of the bus-station.
Now, standing in the light-but-consistant rain outside of an all too
familiar house, she realized this place may look different, but the ghosts
haunting her memories hadn't really changed.
She'd last stood in this spot
Let me know which one I should go for!
