Yesterday via Twitter I learned how bad the SXSW panel was and the Sonic fanbase didn't even try to prove me wrong.
Keep in mind, TSR is set to release this year and Sega so far seem so uninterested in promoting this game but back in 2016 and early 2017 they were advertising Sonic Mania as the "Game of the year" only for it to sell no better than the average Sonic game of this era. They only show off the car customization which is fine but you know what people wanted? Gameplay trailers, trailers for that story mode, etc., but no we get this and one other embarrassment of the day.
Sega thought it was a great idea to greenlit another dumb cartoon. Hey Sega, companies make cartoons AFTER the game is release and done well not before. The last game that did that is the one that wasn't receive all that well nor perform all that well.
