Hey there, I'm Austen Mengler - a concept artist and illustrator from Perth, Australia who's always loved drawing monsters! Since 2010 I've been working freelance on a variety of international projects, from concept art for film & game productions, to album artwork, comic and graphic novel work. I've also been developing my own IP Projects EXECUTION, My Shadows & SCARY SKETCHES. Hey guys, so firstly here's a bunch of shows I'll be at this month coming up real soon! - This weekend (3-4th September) is Evolve Pop Culture Fair where I'll be doing another creature design live demo on the Saturday from 2-3pm. - Then the weekend after that I'm heading to Sydney for Oz Comic-Con, I'll be at Booth 150 in the Artist's Alley. - And then after that I'm heading to Brisbane for the other Oz Comic-Con, I'll be at Booth 140 in the Artist's Alley. Should be another fun and exciting couple of weeks of shows, I'm currently still in the thick of organising everything and have a whole heap of art I need to work on getting out to you

A bunch of new videos from My YouTube Channel. A new timelapse version of my hour long monsters sketch demo and some behind the scenes of some older pieces. I've been recently working on getting the web store at my site setup, a couple of commissions which I'll be sharing, and renovating my work space at home with a new desk. I'll also be exhibiting at Evolve in Perth & Oz Comic-Con Brisbane and Sydney next month in September, so shall let you know more about that soon.
