Talisker rocks by LordLJCornellPhotos Talisker rocks by LordLJCornellPhotos
This is Talisker Bay on the Isle Of Skye with Talisker Point on the horizon. The sand here is a mixture of white and black sand that makes great patterns as the tides come in and out.

I tend to drink malt whisky on its own and warmed in my hand. You get more of the aroma than when it's cold.
I Would drink a blend whisky on the rocks.
Like most things though, it is all down to personal taste. There is no right or wrong way despite what the experts say

The aroma as well is rather too much for me. ;) Perhaps thats because I wallop it down.

Oh no, it's bad really. So I make it a rule if whisky is on offer only to have the one. Because I'm a light weight really. ;)

I must admit I quite like it too. :) not on the rocks or with water. Just as it comes warmed in the glass in my hand. Then enjoyed :)

I've tried it too. A little soda water in mine, just to dilute it a bit or it would go to my head too fast. ;)

I would have called it that but I thought I'd use that title before.
Also......personally I wouldn't put Talisker on the rocks. I'd warm it in the glass in my hand before drinking it.
