Its own reward by LordLJCornellPhotos Its own reward by LordLJCornellPhotos
This is a view of the Church Of Saint Pancras at Widecombe-in-the-moor which is in Dartmoor National Park in the South West of England. It is taken from high on the hill to the East of the village.

Aaahh these views of England tear at my heart strings.  Saw it in Gigi's lovely journal and knew it was British light before I noticed it was one of your shots.  Very, very beautiful Lawrence!  British light is a sort of moist green.  Perhaps you'd need to come to Oz and see our dry yellow light if that sounds crazy.  I can't actually remember if you have been to Oz :tighthug:

No, I haven't been to Oz yet. I am in the very early stages of planning a possible trip to Melbourne but I have a lot of things in front of it at the moment :)

Melbourne is probably our city with the most character.  The only one that has kept its older buildings.  Which is a spit in the ocean as far as history is concerned to those who know Britain's past LOL  But you will get to see that our light is yellow and with your lovely eye for a photo I think you'll really notice it.
