Below Freezing // Visual Snow

Infinite sea of atoms
Dancing like tv static
At the very edge of my eyesight
I disappear in my Visual Snow
All the problems of the world
Are nowhere near my own
Godless, ungrateful, blood spilling men
And culture with its icons that fail us
Cease to ever matter again
My eyes unfocus, regaining my peace
Lost in the deep dancing static
Inward lies an Evil Forest
While outward is my strength
As I sit in this calming stasis
The world kept far at arms length
Finding myself again at last
1000 lifetimes in a single thought
The answers, as always, lie within
Grasping tightly to these feelings
Praying I remember my lessons
Time keeps altering the present
While the world continues oppressing
The sun and moon rise is my blessing
I end up choosing happiness
For my soul is mine, alone
Sorry, nobody's home
