Sky Prophecy // Surface Demise

Above, the Wind Elementals observe
Understanding each soul's intent
Their power slowly builds, conserves
Keeping the sky in suspense
Cover the skies in a nasty haze
Quicker, the days are passing
Our hours are spent in a static daze
While the earth children below keep laughing
One come a day, the water will clear
But the humans will be long gone
No more cries of regret they'll hear
Too late to undo their wrongs
Before long, the heat will break
Then, a sharp rain will cleanse us all
Stuck inside with our past mistakes
Until at last, the sun may finally fall
But after, a cruel twist of fate
Beauty always follows a storm
As soon as the thunder and lightning break
He awaits more cumulonimbus to form
