Description
Spitting up puddles of blood
a wound-stricken Ipsen crawls
through the poisonous Yawning Grave
pools of miasma lie all around him
"Ooh! What have we here??"
snickering imps peer down at him
"Oho, poor boy! Stabbed in his chest.."
Ipsen weakly looked up at them
"Now, imps? I must be dying..."
this made the entities laugh harder
"His wound was self-inflicted!!"
one imp shouted with glee
in painful irony, Ipsen laughed too
coughing up more blood
"Care to finish the job?" he asked
the creatures returned to perch
"Keep crawling, pathetic warrior.
Your time is not yet nigh."
sitting up on one knee
Ipsen took out his dagger
licking his blood off the steel
he wiped the rest on his vest
"This is my mark of shame."
now quiet, the imps all nodded
in silent, somber respect
making it to one lone tree
Ipsen slowly sat up against it
closing his heavy, dark eyes
the adventurer loses consciousness
