The Trading Post
08.12.18. Now that the Trading Post has been operating for exactly a month, we'll be making some changes in response to some problems that have arisen since it's introductions. Comments can no longer be edited after a certain amount of time, so we ask that you post ONE strudel per comment, so that you can hide the comments after it has been traded off. Posting multiple in the same comment causes confusion if you cannot hide just one strudel in particular. ALSO if your strudel is not on the masterlist, please post to the Can't find your strudel? entry on the StrudelCupboard (https://www.deviantart.com/strudelcupboard) to help us find any missing babies! We're super quick about updating!

Man, most anime sucks major testiculars nowadays. Sad really.

However, I'm happy that I found two bad ass anime movies recently.

Tekkonkinkreet - www.youtube.com/watch?v=utaBl9…

Paprika - www.youtube.com/watch?v=NclRSe…

Seriously, watch both. I'm going to be dishing out fanart soon and nobody's gonna know what the hell I'm fuckin' drawing.

Anyways, on to the big news.

I'm moving out of my house before the end of the month. I'm starting college at the American Academy of Art in Chicago this fall. (I hate when people keep asking "ARE YOU GOING TO THE ART INSTITUE?!?!)

Makes me wanna punch them in the kidneys and hope it hurts.

And my grandmother is the landlord of this one building right next to the lake so I'm moving in by myself.

No dorm, no room mates, free rent.

I can honestly say this is the most greatest thing that's ever happened to me. Because, normally, I never get special treatment, AT ALL. I usually have to work to get them myself. Now, the only thing I have to worry about is how am I going to feed myself each day with no help except for $40 a week for food.

But, the best thing is the school is closer and for the first time ever I can finally be ALONE. 'Cause growing up most of your life with children that are nearly a decade younger than you can be a BITCH.

Oh, and I'd like to thank everyone who commented in my last journal. You guys really know how to crack a smile.

I agree with your comment about anime. There won't ever be another sailor moon.

Although, there's this kick ass show that is getting me hooked, Gurren Lagan. I can't stop laughing.
LordDogma's avatar
Oh, I've heard of that show before.

Is it really as good as people say it is?

Yes. Yes. Yes. It's pricelessly funny.

Good luck in the American Academy of Art in Chicago *so does not want to get punched*

Really? That's pretty lucky, it's for saving the raccoon XD But really, shop at Cosco if there's one around there saves a lot of money for large quantity items.

Plus they got a McDonald's and a Chipotle down the street.

Yeah, I'm probably have to shop there and at Aldi's. They're both not to far by a short train ride. And I can also hop over the train stalls to avoid paying a fare.
