Susan Parker & Johnny Parker lived with their aunt & uncle when their parents died, until their uncle died & their aunt was hospitalized. They needed the money, so they joined the space program that caused them to change. Susan's case was becoming a totem via cosmic web & all that, & she got the power to create invisible webs that shape to her will (commonly as barriers, climbing ropes, etc.)

This, to me, is based on the real-life "invisible spider" & THEIR webs.

Johnny, on the other hand, is a little more unfortunate. The incident... killed him. But he refused to stay dead. He wanted vengeance ever since that fateful night, & in came Mephisto to turn him into the next Ghost Rider.

Robert "Ben" Banner felt nothing in the aftermath of his abusive father's death as a result of his rage & unfortunate circumstances. Despite his successes through school & his career in gamma research, his heart remained stronger than stone, which harbored festering rage underneath. This stone would soon encase him on the outside as well due to the cosmic storm. His skin calloused, his build exaggerated, & his rage was unleashed, giving life to a living, hulking mass of uraninite.

Idk how the state of liquid & adamantium are supposed to mix, but it's fictional marvel bs, so F it.

Reed Logan, despite his brilliant mind, always struggled with early onset Alzheimer disease (or so he thought it was), & did whatever was necessary to try & find a cure. When he & 3 other volunteers had been hit with the cosmic storm, Reed's memories & mutant genes kicked in: the Weapon X program ran experiments on him in attempt to keep the adamantium in its fluid state utilizing Reed's mutant potential, but the project was deemed a failure after several tests post-chromebone, & his memories were wiped. Somehow, the cosmic storm reverted the adamantium in Reed's body to a permanent fluid state, triggering his mutant ability to morph & stretch his body at will while retaining its indestructible nature. Armed with knowledge & power, he formed a team with Invisible Spider, Ghost Rider, & The Hulking Uraninite against a world full of disaster.
