Possible Origins(?): Courtney Chavez was the daughter of (Pat Dugan x any Marvel character) and Elena Chavez, born and raised in sunny California. Her parents broke up, and Barbara got remarried to Amalia. Courtney and her step little sister Catalina were brought to the private island of billionaire Mr. Gales, where a high-end medical facility was set up. The island was used by Courtney's mothers Amalia and Elena Chavez, who were expert microbiologists and pathologists respectively, working to cure Courtney and Catalina of Edges Syndrome, a discovered genetic disease linked to the XX chromosomes. She started showing remission, her powers manifested to the delight of Mr. Gales, who was attempting to encourage Courtney to use her powers against her mothers' wishes. Then somewhere in the medical facility Courtney found a strange chest and opened it as she found out it was connected to her father (Pat Dugan x any Marvel character) and she took up her father's mentor's gear and cosmic rod. The girls then witnessed their mother Amalia die destroying the portal chamber, then Gales shot Elena. With Elena dying and as the other girls fought Gales and his security back, Courtney opened a Star Portal to another place to take Catalina with her, but Catalina was ripped from her grip by Gales at the last second. Emerging from the other side, Courtney saw the island in flames, distraught, believing that her whole entire family was now dead and she was all alone. Suffering from the shock of her experience, an amnesiac Courtney drifted along the waters until she was found by the Santana family having washed ashore on Jones Beach while they were stargazing. Her outfit and cosmic rod vanished within her body to be hidden as it seemed like she was a normal girl in tattered clothes. The Santana family took her to their Washington Heights home and raised as their own and claiming she was their relative from San Juan, not wanting the innocent girl lost in the foster care system. To help her feel better, Berto gave Courtney his prized toy blue hippo, Juanchiz, who Courtney adored. Three years after her adoption, Courtney finally managed to have "regained" her memories and told the Santanas, then recounted the origin to a child psychologist, who believed her claims as a defensive coping fantasy with traumatic memory. As the psychologist told the Santanas about Courtney's diagnosis, who shocked her foster parents and the psychologist with her power to fly after seeing a dove. Though she soon ran away when her family was surprised as she managed to regain her outfit and her cosmic rod allowing her to fight off criminals. Then was found by her father (Pat Dugan x any Marvel character) who just realised she was alive since her father left him due to his hero life. As Courtney and (Pat Dugan x any Marvel character) talked and they had a rocky start but soon became close as (Pat Dugan x any Marvel character) helped Courtney on many adventures for seven years. Over the course of her career, Courtney became very popular with the public. In the space of a year, she rescued over four hundred people from various accidents, natural disasters, and superhuman incidents. As a result, she gained a degree of celebrity, with television host Ellen calling her 'the answer to Lindsey Lohan'. She was even given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In Blue Valley, where now Courtney and (Pat Dugan x Any Marvel character) most of her adventures involved Dragon King and his daughter, Cindy Burman. Cindy was the most popular girl in school and as evil as her father. She adopted the name Shiv and became Courtney's arch nemesis. During her adventures, she teamed up with (Starman x Any Marvel character) and the (Shining Knight x maybe Black Knight), who carried a grudge against Dragon King. Courtney later became associated with Young Champions (Young Justice x Champions). During this time, the group came into contact with a group of grown golden-age sidekicks who called themselves Old Justice, as they were sidekicks to Golden Age heroes during time in WW2.
