I mainly just wanted to break the mold a bit, and I thought that these two’s stories matched a little bit better than the others would have (even though none of them match much at all). I also had an idea that The Maker could be combined with one of the Evil Batmen, like The Batman Who Laughs?

I’m not gonna lie, I just went with my gut, and went with something a bit more out there. And also, I kinda had an idea that maybe The Maker could be combined with The Batman Who Laughs, or one of the other evil Batmen. I don’t know if I’d draw that combo anytime soon, but I think that’d be a very interesting combo too…

Thanks, I’m really glad you like him! And I thought I’d combine Absolute Supes’ “Dust Cape” with Ultimate Cap’s Shield, in order to give him a “Dust Shield”! I think it worked out quite nicely

I think I’m just going to put characters together which make cool combos, whether it’s unique or not… it’s quite difficult to find similarities between characters in the Ultimate and Absolute universes, but if I find something that makes it click in my head, then I’ll do it
