++                               From J'Ho Chin the Mean' life and miracles                                              ++                                    ++

It all started when the Lords of Ruin landed on The Southern Planet of Dragoonia. The traitor space marines' collective  lead by fifty warlords arrived with their Space-Factory-Ships; their plan consisted to use the natural resources of the Agri-World to forage their war machine. The Lords of Ruin are composed by traitors space marines and an own human army, some of them are heretic, others are chaos devoted and others are individualistic that opposed to the Imperial regime: contemptible nihilists. They exports wars and instability among their travels. They sell weapons and machinery to the best bidders.

So the Red Tigers of Dragoonia, a loyalist space marines  chapter that protect of the sector, start a long war to maintain the Agri-World under the imperial law. In this time the Living Saint J'Ho Chin the Mean started his teachings and gathered many proselytes, so declared a Crusade to clear the planet by the Lords of Ruin. The Red Tigers were helped by the farmers spurred by the pious words of the Saint. The Imperial Governor of the planet established new Imperial Guard Regiments. The Loyalist Space Marines used the new forces to push away from the planet the Lords of Ruin. Their tactics were bold and ferocious, they used fierce frontal assaults while other forces flanked the enemy positions. The Lords of Ruins left the planet with many loss. The Agri-World was decimated and the Red Tigers endured a new foundation for their heavy casualties. Many Imperial Guard veterans became space marines' neophytes.

After the long war an imperial fanatic faction started a murderous regime of fear. The Red Cultist of Top Lop were too orthodox to the Imperial Creed, they  tortured and killed  farmers that was under the captivity of the Lords of Ruin during the last war. The Red Cultists thought that the invasion was caused by the too faint faith in the Emperor's Light, so they wanted to purge the population from their sins. The Imperial Governor, fearing a fanatic revolution, called again the old veterans of the Imperial Guard to protect the population. During these fights some Red Tigers joined the Red Fanatics. After some years of civil-war the Imperial Guard reconciled the planet and kept the peace. The New Re-founded Red Tigers stopped the fanatic space marines. The most of the Red Cultist were killed, few of them fled in the forests and their leader Top Lop was declared heretic.

After this event the remaining Imperial Guard Regiments was renamed the People's Saviors.

The chaos symbol depicted around the armhole of the bottom sergeant character's vest is a really clever design!

Personally, I'd say do as many sketches as you like but be careful; Americans (speaking as one) are notoriously overly patriotic, and some may become offended if depicted as villains.

But speaking as one of the weirdos, I encourage it! Let's see a few more sketches~
I'm tempted to paint a few minis like this!

Love this concept! I'd love to make one-off minis for both the loyalists and traitors here.

Thank you ! For the traitors: Catachans legs and arms; Scions' torsos and heads. For the Loyalists we needs new models :D (Big Grin) :D (Big Grin)

I have some WHFB Chaos knight torsos that might work as well. Scion heads are perfect for the sergeant; I might greenstuff the helmets on for the other troops. This is another alternative: madrobotminiatures.com/index.p…

Excellent! I do have a question about the Lords of Ruin Marine. What sort of helmet does he have? Is it the “beakie” design?
NornBoy's avatar
Regardless of his helmet, this is what his face should look like underneath it. Chaos mutation is one hell of a drug.

Holly Molly I've no idea...It is a simple style, not an elaborated one

Maybe this style from Anvill Industries:

But more polish

Or a primaris mask with a Stahlhelms or Yes with  “beakie” design for the head part
