The V5COM is a standardized long-range communications and radar station designed for the Martian planetary network.

Developed from the same modular principles used in other Martian infrastructure, the V5COM combines long-range radar, communication relays and atmospheric sensors in a compact, largely autonomous structure. Each station acts as both receiver and transmitter, allowing data and signals to be relayed across the vast distances between settlements and orbital facilities.

The stations form part of a synchronized planetary communications grid, providing redundancy for civilian communications, scientific operations, emergency protocols and planetary traffic control.

Designed for isolated locations, the V5COM can operate with minimal external support thanks to its autonomous water purification system and integrated maintenance facilities.
