Elemental is a collaborative concept art project developed with my friends: @dave.t.artt, @Inhus, @Cremisis, @Fefe_Nico_art, and @Fra_Perazzini. The project is a fantasy based on the four Elements. I did the Water Element.

This sheet explores the combat moveset and the dynamic abilities of the Sky Swans, the Water Nation’s capital guard.

Combat Style

The Sky Swans’ training emphasizes fluidity, responsibility, and control, reflecting their dual role as both soldiers and city police. Their style balances discipline with adaptability, ensuring they can subdue threats without excessive force.

• Short sabre: primarily reserved for armed opponents or battlefield use. It is rarely drawn in civilian contexts, as the guard is trained to escalate force only when strictly necessary.

• Unarmed techniques: extensive training in kicks, holds, and strikes allows them to neutralize targets with minimal harm. These methods are especially used against unarmed civilians or smaller opponents.

• Polearm mastery: the halberd/staff is a versatile tool—sheathed in cloth during routine patrols, it functions as a staff for crowd control, while in combat it transforms into a lethal polearm for sweeping arcs and precision strikes.

Mobility and Acrobatics

• Dodging and evasion: pirouettes, rolls, and vaults ensure they can evade blows gracefully.

• Urban combat readiness: capable of moving fluidly through alleys, bridges, docks, and marketplaces, keeping pace with smugglers, thieves, or rioters.

• Parkour proficiency: scaling walls, jumping across boats, and maneuvering through obstacles with practiced agility.

Enhanced Abilities

• Aquatic adaptability: tattoos and potions grant them the ability to breathe underwater briefly and swim at enhanced speeds.

• Elemental reinforcement: trained to channel basic water manipulation, shaping whips, shields, or tentacles from flowing currents.

• Sensory enhancement: tattoos attuned to Hexia and Mania heighten perception of currents, vibrations, and intent, allowing them to anticipate movement.

Tactical Role

• In civil duty, the Sky Swans act as responsible enforcers, using non-lethal combat wherever possible, ensuring the safety of both citizens and offenders.

• In military deployments, they excel as skirmishers and agile flankers, combining discipline, magic, and mobility to outmaneuver their foes.
