Rainbow and Stormy

"Hey, Fluffy."

"Muh! Ma!" Stormy gave a squeal of gurgling laughter, reaching up at his mother's face with a tiny, clumsy hoof. Rainbow's eyes went soft at the sight.

"Hehee. That's right, tiny." Rainbow dipped her head low to nuzzle her son's cheek. "Mommy's got ya."

Stormy has a tiny genetic mutation that makes him grow a long fluffy coat in the winter, like a Shetland pony. Well he was also born in the wintertime...so he was born fluffy. He was less the radical strong colt Rainbow wanted and more a ridiculously fluffy pudgy precious tiny thing that Rainbow had to desperately restrain herself from snatching and snuggling all day (must look cool, RD, don't succumb to those big eyes and chubby cheeks!)
