here's an excellent video about recent news. it sums up literally everything I'd write in this journal, so watch it. additional summary is: - it was never about kids' safety,but getting our data / control over us - kids will bypass it anyway and they'll keep watching 18+ content anyway. self-admittedly,they already do, that's one of their "excuses" to harass real people over fictional art they shouldn't even view kn 18+ websites..if you don't teach them internet safety, if you don't control what they view, as a parent, or teacher, then the thing WILL NOT improve. it's on them, not the artist, and not the internet. - adults & artists are more limited than ever - it effects me in fucking eastern europe even, despite we have NOTHING to do with american culture and we DON'T want to be related to them. please spread the word and don't let it die down. it's not a fucking trend to hop on, it's about FREEDOM AND PEACE. if we don't do something now, it'll only get worse.
