My November I got two wisdom teeth taken out a few weeks ago. Thankfully recovery has been smooth. I was sedated for the procedure and as I woke up I started doodling a face and a cat. The funny part is I was barely conscious, couldn't see, and yet I was still able to doodle something. No, it wasn't anything amazing, but it was an interesting insight into how the brain works! I've been doing a lot of drawing practice and my goal is to be able to draw things from memory. It involves a lot of repetition and muscle memory. So practice til you could draw it with your eyes closed! Books While recovering from my surgery I read a wonderful book called The Key to Creativity by Hilde Østby. It is translated from Norwegian and I love the author's Scandinavian wit! The tl;dr of the book is that you should allow moments for yourself to be bored. The whole reason shower thoughts exist is because it's time for your brain to wander and come up with new ideas and insights. And I say, drink more water

Unsolicited advice of the day: Drink a ton of water so you have to go to the bathroom more often. Everyone knows you get the best ideas in the bathroom.

Can you tell me if this makes sense? I'm struggling to explain it. It's a layer trick that gives you complementary colors. You can also use it to neutralize colors. Software shouldn't matter as long as it has basic layer and blending mode functionality.
