Darkness Bruises like shadows Inside of my head. Darkening my mind As though it were night. Creeping up on me Like a cat. Cutting me with pain Like blades. The dark thoughts Fill my head Like a pit Full of tar. But the darkness Is too much Like Percy under the weight of the sky I fail. Me She is a peacock. Beautiful and proud Always attracting a crowd. He is an ox. Big and strong With a wonderful personality to go along. But I am a fox. Secretive and sly Letting nothing pass me by. At the same time I am a rabbit. Nervous and shy Never wanting to say goodbye. I am a wolf. And so very many things Trapped inside one single being. Wait Religion says to turn The other cheek. Parents say to give them A taste of their own medicine. Schools tell you to just Bite your tongue. But to be honest I just bottle up my hate And wait and wait and wait and wait For a way to let it out. I had never had many friends in school so when my family decided to pick up and move I didn't really care. "Racheil!" looking up I saw my younger sister running towards me. Grinning I spun her around in my arms. She looked up with tears in her eyes "Do you really have to go?" I sighed. "Angel we've already been through this. You'll see me in 2 months we just need to get the house set up okay?" Scowling Angel said "But I want to go with you and Momma!" Winking at her I whispered in her ear.
