Description
Back again with more HO scale models. One I've had planned for awhile (the trailer), the other I came up with just a few days ago.
First off: Cadance decided to get into the trucking business also. It started as a shell for a Walthers 45' trailer (didn't have the floor and wheels, so I have a stand in one on it for the photo. Will get a floor for it soon) that I made custom decals for (the side ones are all 1 piece). I had a pink paint that closely matched the pink on the decals (made on my computer), so I used it instead of pulling my hair out trying to mix paints to get a perfect match .
You can probably guess what the joke is with it.
The other is a Walthers Airslide covered hopper decorated for the Starlight Salt Co. This one came factory painted (actually it's just a dullcoat over the gray plastic) in gray with a Brachs Candy logo. I painted over the logo, and used a track cleaning eraser to remove the reporting marks. By a stroke of luck I had some lt. ghost gray paint that was a perfect match, so I was able to cover up the logo, and use the dimensional data, etc. on it instead of waiting for a decal sheet I ordered. Again I made the decals on my computer.
So what's the idea with this car? Well if you've been in the fandom for a few years, you know Glimmy is good at mining salt.

I thought those were real trains that you painted!
I love Cadence's trailer.
Maybe try selling it to a company, or get Hasbro to use it for marketing.
