Lets be closed-minded today!
Lets be hypocrites with morals decayed;
Lets go judge people we dont even know!
To make our own insecurities go,
You dont know him, but hes got a funny hat,
Maybe his grandma got him that,
His waistline, oh goodness me,
He cant take one serving, so how about three?
Look at the way they dress,
Who are they trying to impress?
Why did she do that to her hair?
So at her you stare,
Ill let you judge when you are perfect,
But until then, grow up and show some respect.
No, I haven't disappeared completely. Summer has been crazy busy, and I might get a chance now to breathe!
Things are good, as always. I'll give ya'll a rundown of my summer so far, excluding some of the fun details of mischievousness:
-May was the month of 2 summer classes. I basically went to class, did homework, went to another class, worked out, slept, and started all over again...for 4 weeks straight. I'm officially racing again, too! Not often, since it's expensive, but at least I have something to work towards. I did a race in my hometown and got 2nd overall. I was only beaten by a guy that ran in college and is part of a running gro
I've started drawing, writing poems and stories, and other stuff.
I've discovered inspiration for it again.
I'm training for a 10k that's in April.
It's kinda hectic, I get up around 4:30 to work out almost every morning, and don't get back to the apartment until after dinnertime, then sleep. I'm faster than I was when I was MVP in high school. I never thought that would happen!
I went from TAing 4 labs to 6 labs this semester, I have 5 classes, I manage to finish all my homework, and I work out for 2-4 hours per day. Fridays the baja team works in the shop, and recently we've been doing a lot of welding and pipe cutting. We got to take
Have any of you heard of the Mars terraforming and colonization?
What do you think about it?
If you could, would you take a one-way offer to go and colonize Mars?
There's the possibility of a retirement back to Earth at 65, but really...I think this would be a nifty way to live life. They're looking for scientist-type people to colonize, and my major being geological engineering makes me a dang good candidate already. They want to start training people at about 30 or so years of age. Call me crazy, but this could be amazing. Just a thought. =]
And shoot. I'm 20. I still can't believe that.
