I think that only one of these species really needs help with the nose (since only the fellow on the right appears to have one!) but one imagines they can find some suitably hard-to-reach spot!:D (Big Grin)

It all depends on where your nose is located.

I always liked the goofiness of many Dr. Who creature characters, but I feel for the actors in those suits! I once dressed up as a squirrel for a wood products expo, but I'm sure it was comfortable compared to these outfits! :) (Smile)

The challenges of the Doctor Who monster actors are chronicled in a very good book by David J Howe called "A Book of Monsters". There are some both funny and horrible stories in that one.

The actors inside the monsters had no problem staying warm, though.

When you’re powerful, and have slaves to bring pizza, or whatever, to your mouth, there’s no need of long arms... Like Jabba the Hutt, or... a T. rex!

Well, just stand close enough to him and those fumes from the rubber and the fiberglass will knock him out.

Definitely improvements on the sorry Plasmatons. But not by much. well, The tereleptil story  (The Visitation) was pretty good, all things considered though not by the Aliens. That story could:ve worked as well without any monsters.

There were some Who stories with no monsters, where they were just hangin' out. Like Reign of Terrir Paris, or Tombstone, for a nice gunfight...

It would've made a change from the stock monsters always used by Doctor Who nowadays.

really? It wouldn't have taken the Doctor long to sort these guys out. They're practically immobile props.  Meestor? The Tractators?
